GENERAL

What is DIVIN?

DIVIN is, above all, a vision — the vision of Clément Caritg, a multi-award-winning sound engineer who set out to rethink the role of AI in music creation.

Far from the idea of machines imitating or replacing artists, his goal was to turn AI into an amplifier of creative intent — a catalyst for sonic exploration.

DIVIN is more than just an innovative EQ. It’s a project that goes beyond the technical to unlock new creative possibilities and free artists from traditional constraints.

Too often, audio tools demand technical mastery before allowing true expression. With DIVIN, emotion comes first. The technology fades into the background, letting intuition lead the way.

How does DIVIN work?

DIVIN is based on a special kind of artificial intelligence. Unlike traditional AIs that train on public databases, DIVIN doesn't take any external information. Its learning is based on a handcrafted process, fueled by sessions with artists, sound engineers, and creators who shape its behavior by hand.

It's an AI made by artists, for artists. Not an anonymous algorithm, but a tool forged by human sensibilities to respect musical intention, rather than formatting it.

USAGE

How do I use AI in DIVIN?

DIVIN works through text prompts that let you describe the kind of sound transformation you’re aiming for. Your prompts can be:

Technical → For precise, targeted adjustments.

• Example : « Add clarity to the mids »

• Example : « Reduce low-end resonance »

Radical → For bold changes that reshape the sound’s aesthetic.

• Example : « Make it super tight and compressed »

• Example : « Open up the highs with a wide, airy effect »

Creative → For abstract or evocative directions.

• Example : « Gritty, dusty sound like worn-out vinyl »

• Example : « Turn this voice into a ghostly whisper »

Does DIVIN work in real time?

Yes, DIVIN can be applied to individual tracks (vocals, synths, guitars, etc.) or on full buses for broader processing.

Can I use it on any instrument or bus?

Yes, DIVIN can be applied to individual tracks (vocals, synths, guitars, etc.) or full buses for broader sound processing.

Explanation of the Plugin Interface

DIVIN is designed to be intuitive and inspiring, with an interface that encourages exploration and experimentation. Here’s what each button in the plugin does:

🔘 Stereo Creator → Expands or adds stereo width to a mono or overly centered sound. Ideal for giving space to a sound without relying on other plugins.

🔘 Solo Mid / Solo Side → Lets you isolate what’s happening in the center (Mid) or on the sides (Side) of the stereo field.

🔘 Mix → Controls the intensity of the effect generated by DIVIN. At 100%, the effect is fully applied. Lowering the mix blends the processed and original signals — perfect for preserving clarity and transparency.

🔘 Input → Adjusts the incoming signal level before processing. Useful if your source is too quiet or too loud before entering the AI chain.

🔘 Output → Controls the level of the signal after processing. If the result is too loud or too quiet, you can rebalance it here.

Before typing your prompt, you can use one of the four pre-filters to instantly apply a sound coloration that sets the tone for your processing:
🔳 Modern → A clean and neutral profile, ideal for a precise, balanced result.

🔳 Phone → Applies a narrow-band effect typical of telephone voices.

🔳 Tape → Adds gentle saturation and compression reminiscent of analog tape recording.

🔳 Vinyl → Simulates the wear of a vinyl record, with slight distortion and analog character.

After entering a prompt, you’ll see this buttons: 👍 / 👎

Use these to let us know if the result worked for you.

→ Your feedback helps us improve DIVIN and prioritize future improvements.
